Come in off the way at your own pace. Sit down when you are home.

Evening at the edge of a city of rounded poured buildings in soft colours, a bare worn ground in the foreground and a lane running down between the rows toward the shore, the sky dusky violet. — The edge

A wide paved shore walk curving away beside a still white fog, a figure of an animal-like kind walking toward the viewer and others farther off, rounded buildings with lit slot windows along the right. — The round

The shore walk where two pavings meet across a narrow cast strip, figures sitting on the steps down to the fog on the left, a scaled figure walking toward the viewer, a tall pale tower standing a row back. — The join

Looking down over wide stone steps with copper-coloured mended cracks, two figures sitting a few treads below, to small cupped hollows each holding one plant, and beyond them the level fog with the far shore's windows lit in a ring. — Home
