Dravvet

Dravvet: two rows of grey poured dwellings one above the other on sloping ground in watercolour, the lower row facing a sea of level white fog, the upper row set back, flights of steps between the rows and down to the fog, bronze mend seams, two tiers of stippled hollows below.
DRAVVET

the east end of the shore way

Two rows, one above the other, and steps between. The shore way begins here.

You came down through Dravvet in two stages, because that is how it is built: the upper row, the steps, the lower row, and the fog. The lower row faces the sea. The upper row faces the lower row.

The shore way runs west from Dravvet along the south sea, by Hossun, to Kellid. From the top row you can see the first stretch of it. You cannot see the end.

The mends are bronze. Below the lower row's last step the hollows are cut into the ground in two tiers, like the town, and the fog takes the lower tier first.

FrameTwo lines, one above the other. Dravvet is two rows stepped back from the south sea, and the steps run between them. ViewpointDrawn from above, as inhabited areas are.
